This website

The pages at speechispowerful.ai are static files served by Cloudflare. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising, no cookies set by us, and no forms on these pages. Cloudflare, which serves the pages, keeps the ordinary operational logs any hosting provider keeps; we have not turned on any of its visitor analytics. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers when a page loads; that is a connection to Google and nothing more. We intend to host the typefaces ourselves and will remove this paragraph when we do.

The Diagnostic

The Diagnostic runs at app.speechispowerful.ai, as a separate program from this site, so that this statement can be plain about each. When you paste a thread and ask for a reading, the page first replaces the names it recognizes with "Person A", "Person B" and so on, in your browser, and blanks any email addresses and phone numbers; then the text is sent over an encrypted connection to a function we run, which sends it to a language model once and returns the reading to your browser, where the names are put back. The thread is not written to disk, not logged, not used to train anything, and not kept in any form after the reading comes back. The language-model provider's terms are those of a paid API, under which your text is not used for training.

Two things are counted, and only counted. A running total of threads read, which is the number shown on the home page when it is available. And, for each visitor, a daily count held in memory so that one person cannot run the Diagnostic thousands of times in a day at our expense; that count is tied to a network address, not to a name, and it expires each day.

After three threads the Diagnostic asks for an email address before it will read a fourth. If you give one, we keep it, and we use it for exactly one thing: to tell you what comes next on the ladder, rarely, from a person, with a way to say stop in every message. We do not sell, share or rent it. If you would rather not give one, three threads is what the Diagnostic offers, and the ones you already read are still gone.

The page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from scripts. It does not show a puzzle; it runs a check in the background and tells our function whether to proceed. Cloudflare's own description of what Turnstile collects applies.

Everything above the Diagnostic

The Coach, the Team Report, Agent in the Loop and the Ledger each read more than the rung below them, and each has its own statement that you will see before anything is installed or recorded. The rule running through all of them is that nothing reads or keeps more than that rung needs, and that the people whose promises are being read have said yes, individually, at every rung until the Ledger, where the organization says yes on their behalf and tells them so.
